A client based in multiple states was pulling out of a number of leased retail spaces within Walmart Supercenters, and approached DLI Commercial to return each store to “white box” condition to meet Walmart’s lease turnover requirements. With a narrow 2-week window to operate between active retail occupancy and lease turnover, DLI Commercial was able to meet the deadlines concurrently by working in parallel across multiple locations with multiple store managers and numerous subcontractors across a wide geographic area. Scope of work included demo and off-site disposal of all fixtures and signage, repair electrical and ceilings, patch and paint, and repair or replace flooring where needed to meet specifications. DLI Commercial had to coordinate with an owner-specific flooring supplier to ensure on-time material delivery.
